Jessica L. Viola M.S. L.Ac.

Jessica Viola or “Jess” is a New York State Licensed acupuncturist who helps busy Staten Islanders rest, de-stress, and recover from everyday aches and pains. She believes that health is more than just the absence of disease and that it is a state of complete physical, mental, and social wellbeing. She is most interested in helping those who have struggled to find relief from their conditions through traditional medical interventions. These conditions include pain, hormonal imbalances, autoimmune disorders, digestive disorders, emotional disorders, and skin conditions.

Jessica graduated from Tri-State College of Acupuncture with honors where she received training in three different styles of acupuncture. She is proficient in Traditional Chinese acupuncture, Acupuncture Physical Medicine, and Kiiko Matsumoto’s style of Japanese meridian acupuncture. Acupuncture Physical medicine is a system developed by Dr. Mark Seem, which integrates Classical Chinese acupuncture technique, contemporary orthopedic assessment, and Janet Travell’s trigger point therapy. Jessica integrates Japanese meridian style palpation and abdominal hara diagnosis with myofacsial trigger point release to provide patients with distal and local approaches to musculoskeletal pain and disharmony.

When she’s not treating patients Jessica enjoys crocheting, baking, and playing with her two rescue dogs Sugar and Ginger.
